Android 5.0 Lollipop is barely a week old but Google have already released the list of devices that will be blessed with the new Operating System.
Today, Xolo announced that their newest handheld, the aptly named Xolo One will also be joining the party. Costing at around INR 6,599 or roughly $105, the One will be one of the market’s most budget friendly KitKat Smartphone and of course, Lollipop soon after. This will also make it one of the most affordable devices with Google’s new OS underneath, so there’s no harm there.
On the other side however, the One will not come with flagship specifications other than the fact that it will come with a relatively new system underneath. It will be a 4.5inch Smartphone with an IPS LCD (218ppi), a MediaTek MTK 6582M chip alongside a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor, 1GB of RAM and a Mali 400 MP2 graphics card.
Moreover, the One will also sport two SIMS with 3G and HSPA support, microSD card slot to expand its memory from 8GB to 32GB, a 5megapixel fixed focus camera with BSI sensor and LED flash (VGA up front) and the usual connections of WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Come point of sale, the Xolo One will be available in a variety of flavors: brown, black, white and red faux leather finish a la the new Galaxy line of Samsung.
